Terms of service

When placing an order with Gym Mats | Safe Play, the customer agrees to be bound by the following terms.

PRICES

Prices for all products on our website are in New Zealand ($NZ) and include GST (15%). Gym Mats | Safe Play, reserves the right to alter prices for any reason. Gym Mats | Safe Play, will provide "Tax Invoices" in the prescribed form for all accepted orders.

FREIGHT

Freight will be charged on all items and will be confirmed on each order, according to weight, volume and delivery address. Gym Mats | Safe Play, reserves the right to determine the method of delivery for any approved order, except for those orders with special delivery instructions. We will not be responsible for any consequences (direct or indirect) arising from the late or non-delivery of goods due to events beyond our control.

PRODUCTS

We reserve the right to modify or change product specifications. We do this in order to improve our product range and availability. This will only be done when we consider the alternate product to be equal or better in performance and suitability. From time to time products may not exactly match photographs on our website. Every product is intended for use only for the activity described. Products to be used by children should only be used under proper adult supervision. The selection and suitability of items to be used by children remains at the discretion of the purchaser.

CLAIMS

If for any reason you are not satisfied with any product, please contact Gym Mats | Safe Play as soon as possible, or within 7 days of receipt to discuss any issue with the product. We do not offer a refund for items incorrectly ordered or no longer required. All returns must be authorised by Gym Mats | Safe Play will not accept product returns for custom made products, unless such custom made products are faulty. Freight charges on returns will not be credited and additional freight will be charged when sending any exchanged products.

DAMAGED GOODS

If you receive a product which is faulty contact Gym Mats | Safe Play, to arrange an exchange. All returns must be authorised by Gym Mats | Safe Play. You will not be charged for the freight costs of a replacement product. Gym Mats | Safe Play, will not accept returns for products that have been damaged after delivery. You should notify Gym Mats | Safe Play, of the fault within a reasonable time of delivery, provide full details of the fault along with the invoice number, and look after the products until they are returned or a remedy arranged.

PAYMENTS

Payment must accompany all orders. If you are registered, Schools, government organisations and approved customers may order on account. All accounts are payable on 20^th of the month following invoice date. No statements are issued. The customer shall pay any costs or disbursements incurred by Gym Mats | Safe Play,  in recovering outstanding payments. Risk of all products shall pass to the purchaser on delivery. Title to the goods shall pass only when Gym Mats | Safe Play has received full payment of the purchase price and any other amounts owing.

PRIVACY POLICY

Gym Mats | Safe Play respects the trust you place in us through your dealings with us. We are committed to the protection of all your personal information.

When you deal with us the information we may collect from you includes your name, organisation, address, telephone numbers and email address. It may also include details of the products we provide to you as well as the status of any order you place with us. We only collect information directly from you and primarily for the purpose of providing the products to you and to administer and manage invoicing and debt collecting.

We may occasionally use your information to promote and market to you products which we consider may be of interest to you, unless you contact us and tell us not to do so.

Gym Mats | Safe Play will not sell or pass on any of your information to third parties unless required by government authorities or in the event of debt recovery or in our use of external mailing facilities. Any information passed on will be done so with appropriate privacy and confidentiality protection.

Information is stored securely in paper or electronic form and is accessible only by authorised personnel.
